Today’s post workout bowl🥗🥔🍔 - 1. Salad w/ lettuce, cabbage, carrot, red onion, bell pepper & lime juice as the dressing🥗🥗 2. 1 pound (450g) of potatoes baked w. Some dried herbs (oregano, thyme, tarragon) 3. Hummus, & two 3,5oz burger patties made w/ lean grass fed beef 🥩 4. Srirachaaaaa🌶🌶🌶🌶 - About 800 cals for me in this bowl. Around 50p 20-25 fat and 80-90 carbs. As I’ve said before I’ve transitioned out of tracking my macros to a more intuitive approach, but because i have gained a lot of knowledge about calories/macros through tracking them for a while, I can eat more intuitively while still being in a ballpark of the calories I need. There are a lot of people advocating intuitive eating on the gram which is great! But there’s a difference between excessive tracking & just leveling up your knowledge about calories. So yes, I think getting experience with calories/macronutrients (If you haven’t had eating disorders or eating disorders behaviors) is beneficial bc it gives you the skillset to be an intuitive eater long term. - Alright,,, that went from being a foodpost to a little ranty-rant. Made this bread recipe by @ifoodreal with quinoa and oats and it came out great! Store bought breads tend to contain a lot added sugars and preservatives, so you're much better off making your own. garlic scape pesto pasta 🌱 Use my wild leek pesto & simply sub in garlic scapes for the wild leeks. This pesto has a kick to it so sauce lightly for kids. #changeitup . #RECIPE • bunch of garlic scapes – approx 2 cups • 1/3 c macadamia &/or walnuts (highly recommend macadamia if you haven’t tried it) • 1/3 c extra virgin olive oil • 1/2 tsp sea salt Purée above and toss with: • cooked pasta (Go Go Quinoa’s fusilli, tinkyada or PC brown rice pasta for gluten free) . This happened when I didn't feel like I wanted to make anymore almond milk... I was done with squeezing the pulp🙄 Almond milk with pulp, dates cocoa pureed super well, then I added crunchy peanut butter, and chocolate chips, blended super slow, froze it and delish!!!!!!!!! My boys want me to make it again 😉 Enjoy 🙋

This was my post workout selfie. I legit had a smile on my face because I got to workout with a girl who I wouldn’t have met otherwise, and it was shorter than previous ones. But I had an even BIGGER smile afterwards because I got a message from one of my challengers who physically feels better after ONE WEEK. She feels confident. She feels good. I love that I was able to help her take that first step. It’s crazy once you put your mind to accomplish something and shoot for your goals how fast you can see and feel a difference. She knows who she is, and if you’re reading this and want to give a piece of advice for those on the fence, say it girl. I’m so proud of you ❤️

Afternoon Snack!!🌸🍽😋 - This is my usual afternoon snack! Sometimes I have different fruit but today I have one banana🍌, watermelon🍉, and two strawberries🍓!
